Welcome!

My name is Harold Smith, I am 79 years old and live in Nova Scotia, Canada, with my wife Erma. We have been married for 60 years, have 6 children and 17 grandchildren. My full time occupation is a Christian Worker. I became a Christian fifty-four years ago, (1952) by reading the Bible and a booklet called "God's Way of Salvation." I came to Christ as a lost, guilty hopeless sinner, and put my trust 100% in Him as my Saviour from sin and Lord of my life. I have been active in Gospel work for over fifty-two years, as well as ministering to the saints. I gather with a few believers to the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Matthew 18:20, where we read, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

We are not Catholics, Protestants, Islam or Jews, but Christians only.

We maintain the essence of simplicity in our gatherings and seek to practice the order of Acts 2:41-42, where we read, "Then they that gladly received his word were baptised: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastedly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and breaking of bread and in prayers."

We acknowledge and love the Lord's people who ever they might be and seek their best interests.

My prayer is that these free online bible lessons will be a blessing the saints and sinners alike and so be to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My name is Shelly Allen; I am 44 years old and live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates an expat from South Africa, with my husband Gary. We have three children and one precious grandchild, Matthew. My full time occupation as of July 09 is studying Gods word, serving God and being a homemaker and wife to my husband. I became a Christian when I was sixteen, and was baptised and spirit filled according to God’s Word but I never knew God personally, and for many years I walked on my own, trying to do it my way, but I soon learnt without God we are “dead.”

I knew about Jesus but I did not know him personally, as I do now. It was easy for others to say read the bible, but as a baby Christian, I had not the foggiest idea where to start and who I was reading about; it was like reading a history book.

I persisted searching for Him through His Word, bible studies and through prayer, asking God to open my eyes, ears and heart when reading the bible and doing bible studies, helped me turn my life right around and understand and know the God I absolutely love and serve. Now I can pick up the bible, pray asking god for understanding and with the help of the Holy Spirit can read it and know what the Bible is about - Jesus, life, love, forgiveness, faith and the Kingdom of God. When I look back on my life without Jesus, I can now see how much He was always there for me, guiding me and protecting me. Thank you Lord.

I believe that Jesus is the son of the living God, who died on the cross for us; He rose again defeating death and sin and by His grace saved you and me. I live for Jesus and put my trust in Him as my Saviour and Lord of my life. The Holy Bible is my total source of knowledge and I live according to God’s Word.

He created every part of me, He put me together in my mother’s womb I will praise Him and Serve him all the days of my life as I was created to do.
